Breakfast time

It’s a special week for us students of class 6b. Instead of regular lessons we enjoy a week of field trips and little projects. Today, the 26th of June, 2019, our teacher invited us to find out what English people like to have for breakfast and lunch. Mrs Wenzel divided the class into one breakfast and one lunch group. After that she gave us a list with instructions to prepare a yummy breakfast. Every student had their own task. We prepared sausages with scrambled eggs and toast. We tried baked beans, too. British people like to have lemon curd or bitter orange marmalade on their toast. But we prefer(red) “Nutella”. They drink orange juice and black tea in the morning. In between the meals we played English games and laughed a lot. For lunch the second group prepared grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with tomatoes and lettuce. These were really delicious. We also tried typical crisps and had some shortbread and wine gums for dessert. We spent a very interesting and fun day away from normal English lesson.
